The Hot Shots along with the Heartland Dancers will be performing at the Heritage Festival on July 4, 2001 from 10:00 - 11:00 am.

Heartland Line Dancers

Discover the fun, exercise and love of dance with line dancing. The Heartland Line Dancers meet at the American Legion, 818 East St. Patrick Street, Rapid City, SD every Monday at 7:00 pm for line dancing practice.

The team performs at festivals, fairs, conventions, schools and nursing homes. They dance to various types of music - Country, Pop, Latin, Bluegrass, Irish, etc.

In conjunction with the Heartland Line Dancing group, beginner and intermediate line dance lessons are held Wednesdays at 7:00 pm at North Middle School Cafeteria through May 23rd. A new location for the dance class is yet to be established as of this date.

Hot Shots Dance Team

This is a group of children, ages 8 and up. The Rapid City Recreation Division sponsors them. They are from various schools in Rapid City. They perform for a variety of activities including banquets, state capital, festivals, fairs, nursing homes and ½ time at basketball games. They dance to a variety of music including, classic rock, Country Rock, Irish, Pop, etc.
